Public Hearing Continues on Mushroom Plant, Tuesday, Sept. 23

A public hearing before the Town of Mamakating planning board on Yukiguni Maitake’s (YM) second site plan will continue on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 7:00 PM.

The meeting will be at the Mamakating Town Hall, 2948 Route 209, Wurtsboro, New York.

Interested parties may review comments presented by the Basha Kill Area Association’s consulting engineer, hydrogeologist, and ecologist on August 27, the first hearing day, by visiting the BKAA’s latest news page.

YM’s storm water as well as sanitary wastewater and process wastewater designs can now be studied at Mamakating’s Building Department. These materials were submitted by YM the day before the August meeting. As our experts have not analyzed them yet, we are uncertain whether they include details of the modified geothermal cooling system.
