BASHA KILL LEGAL FUND REQUIRES TRANSFUSIONS

The Basha Kill Area Association's continuing efforts to prevent construction of a huge mushroom plant in the Shawangunks need your help!

The BKAA, a member of the Shawangunk Ridge Coalition, is challenging in court local decisions approving the project. This lawsuit, which is the only remaining course that can actually thwart construction of the mushroom plant, requires your financial backing.

The bottom line is that subscribing to the BKAA lawsuit is the last major opportunity for project opponents to actively participate in foiling Yukiguni. The BKAA Board gratefully acknowledges the many people who have already generously contributed to the cause. Nevertheless, we now request you assume responsibility for influencing one other Yukiguni foe, like a neighbor, friend, relative, co-worker, to donate to our legal fund. By so doing, we hope to access the numerous Yukiguni adversaries who, while possessing means, have yet to be financially supportive.

REMEMBER, THIS IS NOT A HOPELESS SITUATION. WE ARE NOT HELPLESS. WE ARE EMPOWERED AND MUST DIRECT OUR COLLECTIVE ENERGY TOWARD DEFEATING YUKIGUNI IN THE COURTS. The BKAA Board contends that to do otherwise is unacceptable.
